Kate Weaver is the founder of Kate Weaver Photography, where she and her team run a successful boutique photography studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Weaver began her career in the sales division at Procter & Gamble selling such brands as Tide and Ivory Soap and went on to lead sales teams in Indianapolis, Miami, Boston and Charlotte. After almost a decade, she left the corporate world to kickstart her own entrepreneurial venture. After studying photography at many locations including Queens University, Southeast Photographic Workshops, and at the Maine Media Workshops Kate honed her craft and opened her business in 2003. After nine years, Kate’s studio boasts over 500 clients, many of whom return year after year for her unique and tailored portrait sessions. Kate is an enthusiastic speaker and enjoys sharing how this particular business model can succeed.
